Discover our Dream….
Martin and Libby Herdman have come together and realised a lifelong dream of offering a Healing Sanctuary and Wellness Centre to people who require the great benefits that the many healing modalities can bring.

They work at their sanctuary deep in the heart of the South Downs National Park, where they offer a wide range of healing practices including Shamanic Healing, Reiki, Sound Healing, Hypnotherapy, 1:1 and Group Sound Baths, Cacao and Fire Ceremonies and Djembe Drumming. The sanctuary is a recognised college with CMA and offers courses on how to become a Healer including Reiki Level 1.
Our Healing Experience & Knowledge
We have both been involved in many aspects of the healing arts for over 30 years and have learned from many teachers.
Our intention with The Herdman Healing Sanctuary is to make a difference in this world by combining our own experience, modalities and knowledge in many aspects of healing.
Martin has been a healer for over 25 years and has trained in and uses Shamanic Healing, Hypnotherapy, Spiritual Healing, Sound or Vibrational Healing, Journey work, Counseling, Spiritual Cleansing, and Physical Emotional Healing as part of his regular practice.
Martin was drawn to healing after the onset of his Mother's terminal illness. He realised that there must be a way to help suffering in an alternative, holistic way, when conventional medicine fails us. This is not to say that conventional medicine does not work, of course it helps many people.
Martin’s curiosity in these healing arts has led him over the years to learn and practice many of these modalities. He has worked at the prestigious Harry Edwards Healing Sanctuary in Shere for over five years, at Barnes healing Church in south London for three years and he has had his own practice for over 15 years. He has studied and qualified in many different forms of healing and draws on his varied knowledge to help people recover and to start them on their own spiritual journey.

Libby Herdman
Libby's passion for healing others began at the age of 18 when she became a nurse. After 40 years working mainly in the private sector as a Operations Director and qualifying as a teacher, Libby became a Holistic Nurse.
More recently qualifying as a Yoga and meditation facilitator, counsellor, Reiki Master and Sound Healer.
She is also holds a diploma in Naturopathy and is currently training in Amino Acid therapy and Pranic Healing

Libby’s passion in the healing world is about supporting and helping others self-heal through the many modalities she has come to understand over the years. Libby has a deep sense of empathy, compassion and a desire to make a positive impact in her clients lives. Her call to serve others stems from a commitment to make a change in the world and a strong sense of community, contributing to a healthier, more peaceful world.
