Come and join Libby, relax and feel rejuvenated with Yin yoga in the beautiful Roundhouse at the Sanctuary, deep in the heart of the South Downs National Park.
Libby offers a small intimate class for no more than 6 students. This is to ensure each participant gets the full attention of the teacher.
Yin Yoga targets your deep connective tissues, like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both yourself and the physical sensations of your body. Because you’re holding poses for a longer period of time than you would in other traditional types of yoga, yin yoga helps you stretch and lengthen those rarely-used tissues while also teaching you how to breathe through and sit with the posture for longer than traditional yoga.
Yin Yoga sequence has a very similar effect on our energies as an acupuncture treatment. By holding the various poses, a yin yoga sequence can help restore the healthy flow of Qi in our bodies.
We start the class with a short breathwork exercise to calm the body and the mind before moving into the postures and ending the class with a short meditation.
You will leave feeling calm and balanced in both your body and mind.
No previous experience is needed.
